Synopsis

Zlatibor, late summer 1943. British General Charles Armstrong, the new head of Allied military missions, arrives at the Supreme Command of the Yugoslav Army (Draža's Chetniks). He announces the imminent capitulation of Italy and the landing of the Western Allies on the Adriatic Sea.

The Chetniks launch major operations against the Germans and Ustashas, in order to facilitate the Allied invasion. However, the Allies do not land, and General Armstrong issues a series of ultimatums to General Draža Mihailović. At the front, the Chetniks encounter an increasing number of enemies: German and Ustashas reinforcements, the Muslim Legion, partisans... Day after day, battle after battle ensues.
